On Being Conservative

The other night after reading the paper I sat down to think of what it means to truly be a conservative. The definition, both politically and socially has changed over time. Various pundits from over the years have talked about liberals and conservatives as if they were born of different species, and not made up of various minds from the human race.

At one point in time Democrats were against human freedoms, while Republicans were willing to start a war to change the vary wording of the Constitution of the United States in order to abolish slavery. round and around history goes and thus we end back right where we started.

Once again, conservative forces are being called upon to stand up and have their votes be counted in Congress and the Senate. Called on to bring us back out of the harrowing state that our civil liberties are being dragged down to by the so called Liberals and Democrats.

Like other times through out the history of our great nation we have had our freedoms chipped away piece by piece by so called liberal laws in order to enact a totalitarian government run by the big figure head himself, Barack Obama. While the liberal masses hail him as the great emancipator, true patriots know the damage being wrought by his laws. Taxes upon our freedoms, taxes upon our businesses, and taxes upon our families in order to drag us through a quasi socialistic regime that we are supposedly fighting over seas.

Well, it's past time we fight our own wars against such freedom sucking regiemes at home. Rise up and be counted! Call and write your leaders in Washington, and in your state's government. Take back what is ours by inalienable right! Stand up and demand what we as a nation have fought long and hard to win. We owe it to ourselves and our future.

Marathon Pundit: Michele Bachmann to deliver Tea Party Express response to State of the Union

Any one heading to Iowa for this more than likely historic speach? Or at least historic if Mrs. Bachman actually runs for president in a year. Who knows if she'll make the final decission any time soon. After all, there's Palin up in Alaska waiting it out and slowly drawing up some good PR in the meantime.

I for one will be watching via feed durring work. They actually allow you to watch intelligent comentary where I work, even if it's some liberal BS. After all, you have to allow all people their $0.02 now especially with the hippy tree huggers they have in HR.

I'll try and put up a break down of the event after. Been pretty busy up in this neck of the woods so...we shall see what time allows.

The New Year - Keeping Our Freedoms

When you look back on 2010 what stands out the most in your mind? A group of like minded American's who enacted their own laws to protect their state against foreign invaders? Local governments taking matters into their own hands in a movement against an unlawful and unconstitutional act that pulls money out of hard working American's pockets? The powerful message sent to the Nation in an unprecedented election year?

When the patriotic peoples of Boston met during the fateful year of our lord 1773 to decide the actions they should take, one can not help but wonder what they thought as they themselves looked back after the start of the new year. Having been taxed, manipulated, and their rights stampeeded on by big government it was all together correct that they strive in every capacity to bring down the unjust government and rise up a new one to represent the people. A government that would be for the people, one finally in their hands and hearts.

With the new so called "Health Care Reforms", an act not that different from being forced to pay for tea at the exorbitant rates dictated then by the British Government, the people once again rise up to let their voices be heard. Voting, again and again, to back the tide of over zealous liberalism. The stuff that gave away our country to the foreign investor. The ones who removed all of the jobs to over seas, taking the money and lively hood from hard working Americans. If you want to know the cause of the recession look no further than the so called 'Obama Lovers'. When they were yelling 'Yes We Can!', it was a rallying cry to take away our civil liberties and sell them to the social liberal needy who had their hands out for the freebies.

“The tea that bainfull weed is arrived. Great and effectual opposition has been made to the landing of it…the proceedings of our citizens have been united, spirited and firm. The flame is kindled and like lightening it catches from soul to soul…"


So, do not force upon us an unwanted 'tax'. Leave our freedoms intact!
